NC Topcoat White (5%-10%-30%-50%-Gloss)

Suitable for Internal Use. The fast drying time combined with desirable physical properties makes it ideal for mass production. Easy application by conventional spray, airless and curtain coater.

All timber species must be fully aged with a moisture content of less than 15%. The surface must be dry, clean and free from contaminations. Natural oil or gum must be removed by solvent cleaning.
Always check compatibility with required [primer] or similar pretreatment. It is essential to sand the applied primer by utilizing paper no [400], as an adequate light sanding and dust removal prior of application of [NT13XX] Ritver NC topcoat pigmented.

Stir product well with a flat paddle. Thin to the required viscosity in both instances ensuring the product is homogeneous after stirring. For details of spray equipment contact Ritver Technical Services Department.

Dilution
Utilize NC Thinner depending on the application system used. In general 100% thinner is added to achieve an application viscosity. This is suitable for conventional spray. In case of high humidity climate add 3% [TN122] NC Retardant thinner.

Applicable to apply the Topcoat pigmented range on solid wood and veneer substrate treated with NC pigmented base coat or Polyurethane. For product affinity, it is recommended to use primer surfacer before the application of the final top coat.
Depends on the finishes required but in general an appropriate rate is 120 g / sq. m./ coat. The number of coats depends on the surface preparation the porosity of the substrate, and the finish required.

Cleaning
Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with [TC010] Tool Cleaning.
Caution
Do not use when humidity levels may cause surface condensation (maximum 85%), during rainy conditions or if temperatures are likely to fall below 5°C during application and drying. Protect from frost.

Available in 3.5Ltr, 18Ltr, 200Ltr.
Store in a cool and well ventilated place. Keep away from direct sunlight. Maximum 18 months in unopened container, stored in a cool and dry condition at 25°C.

This material is flammable and must not be exposed to naked flames.
Use only in well ventilated areas. In case of insufficient ventilation during application wear suitable respiratory equipment. Do not breathe vapor / spray.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of sweet water and seek medical advice. In case of contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water or a recognized skin cleanser. Keep away from sources of ignition. No Smoking. Keep out of reach of children.
